Famous nature and ski center Uludağ is in Bursa.

Mardin

According to some sources, it is the third oldest city in the world. The name of the city comes from Marde, which means the city of Assyrian castles. Connecting Anatolia to Mesopotamia, Mardin has hosted 23 civilizations, including Sumerian, Akkadian, Hittite, Assyrian, Byzantine, Arab, Seljuk, Artukid and Ottomans, since 4500 BC. It is one of the rare cities in the world where old historical buildings are preserved and lived at the same time.
